Awesome semi-antique Persian runner! Sometimes we could just jump around with excitement, these pieces are so darn good! The detailed design, pattern, and colors on this one are FAB! The dark background on this runner sets off everything, incredible abrash (that variation, striation in color traveling the width of the rug, due to dye batches). The dark wool, goes from deep dark chocolate to midnight deep blue to black onyx. The color in the pattern is a range of beautiful watery blues, camel, ivory, soft coral, touches of pale saffron, muted soft blush, and a muted olive green. The medallion, border and corners are delicious. This rug has a soft low pile with a bit of patina. Obsessed with this special piece!
