Insanely special storied weighty vintage Turkish large runner! Signed by the artisan weaver and dated 1980. To say we are obsessed with this one is an understatement! Absolute tribal masterpiece. The cotton foundation is thick and wonderful and the wool is superrr soft. The patina is to die for. The abrash with the variation of rolling color is sooo lovely. The field is a range of warm browns is the perfect earthy backdrop to set off bright coloration. The pinks mimic pinks you’d find in flowers like carnations and roses, and the purple is like a tulip. The medallions are fantastic, primitive and elevated at the same time. At each end you’ll find the most gorgeous shade of muted deep-sea Mediterranean teal.
