A fantastic vintage Persian Heriz chocked full of the weaver's beloved critters! There are so many SWEET animal motifs on this gorgeous rug we keep losing count somewhere around 28! It's a "Where's Waldo" hunt in the images here on our website and in person. We are obsessed! The abrash (natural rolling coloration of the dyed wool) in this rug makes for the most beautiful range of reds. There are a whole host of blues ranging from navy, denim, marine to cobalt. Other supporting colors are bright ivory, camel, black onyx, silvery grey, tiny bits of pink, and the corners and medallion are coral. The design and elements in this spectacular rug are gorgeous, the medallion, corners and border so very great. Soft thick wool pile. This rug is in super condition! Handknotted and one of a kind!
