Lovely Semi-Antique Persian Najafabad Isfahan Rug! Features a beautiful 8 pointed star medallion, intricate floral vines, palmettes, and arabesques. Color story is navy, red, sky blue, ivory, and a golden squash. Gorgeous corners echoing the medallion. She has a very pretty subtle luster to her soft low pile. This is a rug with history and character. There are some minor well done repairs, and some subtle waving to the rug at one end, the rug is not perfectly rectangular. These conditions are mentioned for full transparency and at the same time not unusual for older pieces dating to the 1940s as this piece is.  All are depicted in the photos, and as can be seen, do not detract from the inherent beauty of this fantastic rug.
