Gahhh! Superb area rug! A vintage persian rug, more specifically a Kerman tribal Afshar Sirjan. EVERYTHING about this rug is fantastic, the medallion, borders and the large stylized boteh pattern in the corners, the boteh is a symbol for the seed. The colors and wool quality in this piece are outstanding. This is a heavyweight with a thick plush soft delicious pile. The colors are a field of warm terracotta, shades of camel, antiqued ivory, navy blue, pops of tangerine, lavender, and bits and traces of a vibrant coral. The beautiful edging is special too. This rug is in amazing condition as well. This is a collector level piece. Naturally handknotted and one of a kind. Spectacular!
