Absolutely STUNNING Antique Persian Karaja! This is a specialized village style from the larger Heriz weaving district. This is more than a beautiful rug, it is a highly sought after collector's piece. This rug has lived a wonderful and mysterious life and has another whole lifetime to be enjoyed. In amazing condition despite her age. The color story is a vibrant coral, soft muted pink, and warm terracotta background offset by starkly contrasting deep navy blue, antiqued ivory, and accents of forest green, blues browns, wine, and pumpkin. The medallions, border and design motifs are exquisite. Super special piece of floor art. As always handknotted and one of a kind.
