THIS vintage Turkish Oushak rug is sooo cool! Those colors are bold and playful and the design is next level! Very unusual piece with the roses on the border and corners and the piece has a date of 1959 woven/knotted in (visible in close up image, the semi circle adjacent to the year is a shadow cast by a light source, not a change in coloration in the wool). The wool is super soft to the touch and the pile is quite full with some sweet subtle vintage patina wear here and there. Super quality vintage rug in so many ways. This is a weighty rug and densely handknotted. The color story is pumpkin, oatmeal, light celadon, sage green, navy blue, cobalt blue, lavender, bits of ivory and bright red.
