Awesome antique Persian Shiraz! A nomadic tribal piece. The wool has an incredible luster, it almost appears as silk, the wool very well may be camel. The colors are rust, orange, wheat, soft gold, pumpkin, tangerine, olive green and dark brown. The pile sits low and is spectacularly storied with even areas of wear. It is densely knotted and heavy, all wool. The pile lays down therefore the view from one end is lighter than the view from the other end. We cannot even decide which angle we like better, so so great. So hard to let this one go, honestly. Very special rug!
