Super antique Persian Heriz Serapi rug! Beautiful design and pattern, great authentic patina. Loving the medallions, the motifs include water symbols and mythical sea creatures resembling sea dragons, florals and beyond. The colors are so great too, Warm orange-red at one end to deep orange to melon, variations of teal green, a bit of lavender at one end, camel, taupe, antiqued ivory, olive, khaki, bits of sky blue. Incredible abrash (the color variation horizontally across the rug)! OBSESSED I tell you! Densely knotted and heavy weight, low storied pile. A bit trapezoidal with a little wider at one end as is noted in the dimensions. One of a kind absolute floor art!
