EXQUISITE rare type luxury rug. Collector level. A quintessential semi antique Persian tribal rug. Bird and feather 🪶 motifs, a female figure as a center point, the handknotted wool is thick dense plush and soft. There is a small area where the weaver must have had something wonderful occur during weaving, a family birthday, a wedding, some sacred occasion, because fine gold metal thread were introduced into the pattern (visible in close up images), in dots, the size of a dime. We have never seen this before and it is super special. This entire rug is super special! The color story is gorgeous, toasty red, camel, soft grey blue, maroon, turquoise, black, grey, ivory. The border on this piece is outstanding too, creating a worthy frame. This rug is a statement! Super lucky to have it pass through our hands! 🙏🏼
