This rug was once a wide runner, a Persian Nahavand. This rug was skillfully saved and the rug was segmented and perfectly (and I mean perfectly) sewn together. We would not have even known unless the rug was flipped over for a good vacuuming before display in our store. We have photographed the parts of the rug where two width-wide seams are barely visible to the eye. It does not detract from the piece, it makes it even more special. This is what we lean into, environmentally sustainable choices, salvaged storied floor art. This gorgeous happy rug truly embodies this tenent of our work here! 🥹
